How to use this page
- Choose a PNG image.
- Set JPG quality and the background used where the PNG was transparent.
- Convert and download the JPG.
Worked example: a transparent logo that a form only accepts as JPG
Set the background to the form’s page colour (often white), quality around 85–92, convert, and check the edges. Then compress if the form also has a KB cap. If the real need is a PDF letterhead, convert the flattened JPG with PDF North’s JPG to PDF tool.
What this job is for
White is the usual background for documents and product shots. A brand colour is better when the PNG was designed as a cut-out on that colour.
Useful limits
Screenshots with text often look better as PNG until a form forces JPG. Use a high quality setting to keep the type.
The live tool behind this page is PNG to JPG. It is the same local engine as the rest of Image Cosmos.
